about the evolution of cultural expressions.

in general the tkm group focus on the production of cutting tools for the paper industries such as with the production of squeegee for the screen print. each tool that is produced with high perfection nowadays has its roots in the first forms of expression which were realized with the most simple tools.

through the permanent interaction between art and work – artisan craftwork and the industrial production this process keeps going on and on. results that happen by accident such as precise results of the research are transported into industrial production time after time.

the free works which were realized by 22quadrat during the drupa fair reflect those archaic processes. they show that for the tkm group the roots of nowadays industrial production are based inside the artistic expressions of humankind.

two walls build a bracelet that rounds up the stand of the tkm. both display vertical landscapes. one wall displays the process of cutting. it shows a typographical layering of grey paper. the second wall displays the application of color.
